Aging poses many health challenges. It brings either mental or physical health challenges that cause living more difficult and challenging. These difficulties may prevent us from moving around the house or doing our self-care activities.
That is why Gilgal Assisted Living LLC offers services to address the needs of our residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). ADLs are the skills needed to properly take care of oneself and meeting their needs in eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, continence, and mobility. When seniors cannot tend to themselves in these areas, this may deteriorate their health and lead to more unwanted complications. But with the help of our care staff, each of our residents won’t have to worry about doing these activities alone.
Our caregivers do not only provide all the necessary support but also, they evaluate the ability or skills of each resident to determine their limitations. We monitor their progress every day while working to keep them active in other areas of their life to promote independence.
Through these all, we consider and value each of our residents’ dignity, privacy, and pride to promote self-worth and self-importance. If you have questions or concerns about this service, please feel free to contact us.
